    Wimbledon, whose losses had grown after chairman Charles Koppel's planned move to Milton Keynes and a fan boycott, went into administration with Grant Thornton. The club carried on, moved to Milton Keynes and later became MK Dons.

    Outcome: Survived. Club moved to Milton Keynes in September 2003, was relegated in 2004, and Pete Winkelman's InterMK consortium took it out of administration in 2004, after which it was renamed Milton Keynes Dons (BBC, 21 June 2004).
