    Telford United were thrown into crisis in March 2004 when chairman Andy Shaw's Miras Contracts business collapsed and the club was expected to go into receivership. After the season, advisers Moore Stephens said the only option was liquidation, and the club folded. The event came after the last 2003-04 fixture, so it is filed under 2004-05, when Telford were due to play in the Conference National.

    Outcome: Phoenix club. The club went into liquidation and lost its Conference place; fans formed AFC Telford United, which the FA placed in Unibond (Northern Premier League) Division One, three divisions below the Conference.
