Salisbury City entered administration in September 2009, owing about GBP 200,000 to HMRC, and were deducted 10 points in the 2009-10 Conference Premier. They finished 12th but were demoted two divisions for failing to pay creditors in full by the second Saturday in May.
Outcome: Survived. CVA with HMRC (Companies House: approved 5 Jan 2010; court approval reported 26 Feb 2010). Failed to pay creditors in full by the Conference deadline, so demoted two divisions to the Southern League Premier Division; FA appeal dismissed 10 June 2010.

After finishing 12th in the 2013-14 Conference Premier, Salisbury City were demoted from the Conference Premier to the Conference South on 13 June 2014 for failing to clear football creditors and post a £50,000 bond, and were then expelled from the Conference altogether on 4 July 2014 after missing the second deadline. The club later went into liquidation.
Owner at the time: Outail Touzar (98% stake, disputed) and Mark Winter
Outcome: Phoenix club. Club later liquidated; Salisbury FC was formed in 2015 as a successor.
