Sadly they went down 0-4 at home to Daventry – but all is not yet lost as they still have to play North Greenford at home. Here’s wishing them all the very best.

They have poor players and management there, big time payers that think they are good but only half decent in youth football and the manager is a youth coach at best the other one left was a bib collector and had no decent knowledge, the players there are not good enough for the league they are in and some have no commitment if i was running Woodford i would get rid of them all.

That bloke Gordon is known by many at Woodford as he was Chairman at Towcester FC. I fail to understand how someone who has never played football or managed/coached a successful team can be so criticle of those who give up much time to support good young players. I can only assume this is a personal attack. On a lighter note this person is known by the lads as Mr Potato Head & by others as The Face of Pukka Pies which raises a smile and a laugh.

    Shame on you Gordon.

    Everybody Loves Gordon.

Gordon might have a point…….three e-mails were sent to Woodford during course of season offering them a step 3 keeper offering to play for nothing and not one reply!

Maybe they have got what they deserved…..

  9. Bertie says:

    Der! Should have replied lads?!!!!

Yea commiserations to Woodford for a rotten season but fair play to the players for keeping on battling. We played Woodford a few times pre-season a few years back and Woodford always gave us (Thatcham Town) a good game.

Good luck for next season in the UCL (is it?) Cheers.

Not a good start for Woodford United who have dropped to leagues to the UCL 1 for the 2013-14 season and lost their first two games at home 0-6 and 0-7. I hope they can improve over the coming weeks.

Woodford’s woes have continued and they’ve now lost all 10 league matches in the UCL Division One this season although I understand they’ve now signed a few players fathom Bugbrooke St. Michaels and the the margins of defeats are getting smaller. They now face AFC Rushden & Diamonds in the FA Vase 1st Round this Saturday at home and whilst they wouldn’t be expected to win this match at least, with an expected away following of probably 300-400 odd, they should pick up a fair bit of welcomed revenue from this match.
