Twohundredpercent started its life in May 2006. It is a website about the politics, culture, financials and history of football. We’re currently focused on the UK, but hope to expand this in the future. This site was a gold winner in the When Saturday Comes Webwatch awards in 2009 and 2010, and a silver winner of the same in 2011. In 2011 and 2013 it was nominated for and in 2012 won the Football Supporters Federation Writers Awards Website Of The Year, and also won the Editors Choice at the 2008 Soccerlens awards. In 2006, oddly enough, Twohundredpercent was for one week only The Sun’s Website Of The Week. We rather doubt that they would feel the same way about us nowadays.
We’ve peaked and we’ve troughed, and this summer we’ve decided to make the biggest change that this website has seen in a decade. From the summer of 2018, we’ve moved to focus more on our podcast, which is released every week, on Tuesdays. it’s available on Spotify, Itunes, or the podcast aggregator of your choice – the links are all on the home page. We try to update the writing page on a daily basis, and every Saturday morning you can join us for the Saturday Movie Club, a feature length curio from somewhere in football’s weird, weird archive. We also have a channel of YouTube playlists, divided up by season.
