Some of you will have noted that our occasional artist Ted Carter put down his crayons in favour of hunching over a keyboard and reviewed the Premier League clubs team kits for the start of the 2012/13 season. He’s not, however, merely satisfied with merely criticising the garish outfits that these over-indulged buffoons will be running around in over the next nine months. He has decided to design a home and away kit for each of the twenty clubs of this Premier League, and has included the only sponsors that these clubs should ever have – even if some of the companies no longer exist (and, by the looks of it, some of them are just random words rather than actual companies themselves. Here is part one, and part two will follow shortly.
Arsenal
Aston Villa
Chelsea
Everton
Fulham
Liverpool
Manchester City
Manchester United
Newcastle United
Norwich City

Shame you’ve forgotten about the badges! The only sponsors are not just the first ones but it should be local businesses and companies. Thus, Fulham should be sponsored by the Fullers brewery and proudly display ‘London Pride’ on their chests. Chelsea, on the other hand, should be sponsored by the Battersea Power Station, although there would be a problem with fitting all this on the shirt! QPR could have a powerful sponsor in Westfield Shepherd’s Bush although West Ham (and Leyton Orient) could now have its Stratford counterpart.
Aston Villa should be sponsored by ‘Yoghurt’.
