It started, as the best of musical projects do, over several shots of absinthe in a Brighton pub and ended with the promise of a World Cup song for this site. Here we are, four weeks on, and it is ready, complete with Bjørge Lillien and Alan Partridge samples, as well as healthy dollops of Joy Division and Donna Summer, no less. Thanks very much to Chris Harper and Ed Dickins for getting their act together in time to make this for us. I have to confess, I didn’t really think that it would ever see the light of day (and the fact that we cut it so fine before the tournament started is the reason why there is no accompanying video for it).
