The 200% World Cup Breakfast: Passing the Mantle
Well, it had been widely predicted that this weekend would be the point at which the “fun” point of the World Cup ended and the “competition” element of it would begin, but things didn’t quite work out that way, did they? What we actually got was two enthralling matches, both equally enjoyable but for very different reasons, ten goals and what might even turn out to be the last stands of arguably the two greatest players on the planet over the last ten years. We’re joined for this morning’s podcast by David Hartrick of Ockley Books, Football 365 and the Football Fives Podcast to review it all.
