Non-League Videos Of The Week: 15/01/2012

This week’s non-league videos of the week features four matches from the Second Round of the FA Trophy. With only thirty-two teams left in the competition at this stage, the scent of a Wembley final is starting to drift into the air, and our four matches tonight feature twenty-five goals. First up is a match between two clubs that are owned by their supporters, as Ebbsfleet United of the Blue Square Premier play Chester of the Northern Premier League. Our second match sees Salisbury City, of the Blue Square South, play another Blue Square Premier Club, York City. Third up is the match between Dartford and Boston United, and finally Weymouth are at home against Alfreton Town. Our thanks go to those that take the time to record, edit and upload these videos. Non-League Videos Of The Week: The Blue Square Premier

For the second part of our Non-League Videos Of The Week, we have two matches from the Blue Square Bet Premier Division. At the top of the table, Wrexham are continuing to hold Fleetwood Town at bay and, while Fleetwood had a Lancashire derby match at home against third placed Southport on Boxing Day, Wrexham, who are now owned by their supporters, made the relatively short trip to Shropshire to play another supporter-owned team, AFC Telford United, and over four thousand people turned out at New Bucks Head for the match. Our second match comes from the other end of the division. Ebbsfleet United recently announced that they need to find £50,000 to plug a gap in their finances. They are just above the relegation places at present and can sure up their position with three points from a home match against Hayes & Yeading United. Our thanks go to those that take the time to record, edit and upload these videos. You can follow Twohundredpercent on Twitter by clicking...

Non-League Videos Of The Week 2: The Football Conference

We have two sets of non-league videos of the week lined up for you this week. Earlier this evening, we had a quick round-up of matches from the Third Qualifying Round of the FA Cup. Now, to follow that up, we have a quick round-up of two matches from the Blue Square Premier, followed by one match from the Blue Square South. Wrexham stayed top of the table with a comprehensive win against Stockport County at The Racecourse Ground, but there was plenty going on elsewhere in the division. Our first match is the match between AFC Telford United and Ebbsfleet United. Second up is the match between Barrow and Hayes & Yeading United. Our third match comes from the Blue Square South, and is the match between Welling United and Dorchester Town. Our thanks go to those that record, edit and upload these videos. </iframe

You can follow Twohundredpercent on Twitter by clicking...

Non-League Videos Of The Week

The Easter weekend is traditionally the weekend during which most non-league promotion and relegation issues are sorted out one way or the other and, with a round of fixtures to be played this afternoon, we’re going to take a moment to catch up with some of Saturday’s matches. Our first match comes from the foot of the Blue Square South. Havant & Waterlooville’s league season is effectively over, but Saturday was critical for Lewes, who went into Saturday’s match desperately needing a win to maintain any realistic chance of staying up. They are at home against relegation rivals Bishops Stortford this afternoon. At the top of the same table, Ebbsfleet United, in third place in the table, are more or less guaranteed a place in the play-offs, but Chelmsford City sit just outside of the top five and were another team in desperate need of three points on the road with a trip to Ebbsfleet on Good Friday. A win would leave Chelmsford just a point off the play-off places and they are also at home this afternoon, against Bromley. Another team chasing a play-off place are Wrexham, in the Blue Square Premier. We’ll have a further update on what has been going on at The Racecourse Ground this evening, but on the pitch the team has been continuing to go reasonably well and on Saturday they were away...
