Non-League Videos Of The Week 2: The Football Conference

We have two sets of non-league videos of the week lined up for you this week. Earlier this evening, we had a quick round-up of matches from the Third Qualifying Round of the FA Cup. Now, to follow that up, we have a quick round-up of two matches from the Blue Square Premier, followed by one match from the Blue Square South. Wrexham stayed top of the table with a comprehensive win against Stockport County at The Racecourse Ground, but there was plenty going on elsewhere in the division. Our first match is the match between AFC Telford United and Ebbsfleet United. Second up is the match between Barrow and Hayes & Yeading United. Our third match comes from the Blue Square South, and is the match between Welling United and Dorchester Town. Our thanks go to those that record, edit and upload these videos. </iframe

You can follow Twohundredpercent on Twitter by clicking...

Non-League Videos Of The Week: 11-09-11

This week’s non-league videos of the week come from the top of the Blue Square South, the Southern League Division One South and West and the FA Vase. Our first two matches feature two clubs that have had an excellent start to the season in the Blue Square South. Dartford sit in the play-off places in the division, and they are at home against struggling Eastleigh, while leaders Welling United faced a long trip south-west for a tricky match against another team that has made an inconsistent start to the season, Dorchester Town. In the Southern League Division One South and West, meanwhile, struggling Wimborne made a trip to Paulton Rovers, and finally, in the north-east, Bedlington Terriers started their FA Case campaign with a match against Stokesley. Our most sincere thanks, as ever, go to those that go to the trouble of recording, editing and uploading these matches – four matches which contain no less than twenty-five goals. You can follow Twohundredpercent on Twitter by clicking...

The Twohundredpercent Pre-Season Predictions: Conference South

There is a lot of money flying about in the Blue Square South this season as the teams jostle to fill the void at the top left by Braintree Town and Ebbsfleet United. The gap between those with a decent budget and those without seems to be growing a bit more in the southern half of Step 2 than in the northern half. Oh and all the teams who have enjoyed a nice little comfort zone around the M25 and M4 corridor have a lovely jaunt down to Cornwall to look forward too. Promotion Contenders Woking seem to be nailed on favourites to win the league and its certain that they have a very strong squad. But they will face some stiff competition from Dover Athletic, Chelmsford City and Eastbourne Borough. Gary Hill turned the squad when he joined as manager last season so expect big things in his first full season in charge, reports from pre-season games suggest they are looking like a quality side already. The fact that some players have taken a wage cut in order to stay suggests a team with proper ambition. Dover Athletic may have lost talisman striker Adam Birchall to Gillingham but they should still give the top teams a run for their money. In comes George Purcell from York CIty, he’s full fit after an injury-ravaged season but should be on...

Non-League Videos Of The Week: The Blue Square South

There are just four weeks left to go of the season in the Blue Square South, one of the two feeder leagues to the Blue Square Premier, and there is still all to play for at the top of the table. This week’s Non-League Videos Of The Week features six of the top eight in the league, and with the battle for the title and for the four play-off places still wide open, there is still all to play for. At the very top of the table, there was just one point between the leaders, Braintree Town, and second-placed Farnborough. In our first match, Braintree have a golden chance to win three points against Dorchester Town, who are sitting just above the relegation places but have probably just about done enough to secure their place in the division for next season. Meanwhile, at Cherrywood Road Farnborough FC were at home against Bromley. Farnborough have trimmed Braintree’s lead at the top of the table down to a single point at the top of the table, whilst Bromley are in mid-table, probably a little too far from the play-off places to be able to launch a challenge of their own. Still, with the nerves starting to jangle as the end of the season looms on the horizon, there are no matches for clubs at the top of the table that can...
