Non-League Videos Of The Week: The Last Of The Bank Holiday Rush

Normal service is now to resume after the somewhat chaotic Christmas and New Year matches, but we’re going to spend a little time catching up with the last of the festive highlights from over the course of the last three days or so. We have six matches lined up for you this evening. From the Blue Square Premier, we have highlights of the matches between Wrexham & AFC Telford United and Forest Green Rovers. In the Blue Square South, we have highlights of another derby match, this time between Tonbridge Angels & Bromley, and this is followed by two matches from the Southern Football League, between Fleet Town & Slough Town, and Cambridge City & Oxford City. Finally, we have a match from the Northern League, between North Shields & Alnwick Town. Our thanks go to those that take the time to record, edit and upload these matches. Non-League Videos Of The Week: The Blue Square South

Refreshed and reposed after a break for Christmas, we’re back this morning with a double dose of Non-League Videos Of The Week. We have a couple of matches from the Blue Square Premier coming up a little later this morning, but we are starting off with five of Boxing Day’s matches from the Blue Square South. Non-League Videos Of The Week: The FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round

This weekend, the FA Cup reached its final qualifying round and the introduction of the clubs of the Blue Square Premier adds a little extra spice to the competition as well. Everybody that took to the pitch in this competition at the weekend went into their match knowing that a live appearance on ITV and a sizeable pay day could well be on the cards if they could just get over this hurdle, and this evening we have four matches from this round of the competition. First up is the match between Bishops Stortford and Salisbury City, and this is followed by the matches between Gateshead and Hebburn Town, Dartford and Bromley, and Chelmsford City and Gloucester City. Our thanks, as ever, go those that take the time to record, edit and upload these videos, and you can see the draw for the First Round Proper of the competition – which was made earlier this afternoon – here. Non-League Videos Of The Week: 09-10-2011

The football clubs of the Premier League and the Championship had a break for another round of international matches this weekend, but there were few such luxuries for the butchers, bakers and candlestick makers of non-league football with a round of fixtures which included the Preliminary Round of another competition which has suffered a little damage to its reputation in recent years, the FA Trophy. We have four matches for you this evening, one from the Blue Square Premier, one from the Blue Square South, one from Division One of the Northern League and one from the FA Trophy itself. First up is a match between two clubs with upwardly mobile ambitions this season. Mansfield Town are hanging around on the brink of a place in the Blue Square Premier play-offs, whilst Grimsby Town, meanwhile, have recovered from a dreadful start to the season and are now heading towards the middle of the table. Our second match is the Blue Square South match between Havant & Waterlooville and Bromley. Havant have had a diifficult start to the season and are not far above the relegation places in the table, while Bromley are in mid-table with one eye on an end of season play-off place. Our final two matches are from a slightly lower level of the non-league game. In Division One of the Northern League, Spennymoor Town are chasing...

Non-League Videos Of The Week: The Blue Square Premier & The FA Cup

This weekend’s non-league videos of the week come from the Blue Square Premier and the Second Qualifying Round of the FA Cup. In the Blue Square Premier, AFC Telford United have reacted positively to their promotion from the Blue Square North at the end of last season and sit in mid-table in the division at present and they were at home against Hayes & Yeading United, who were the beneficiaries of Kettering Town’s generosity – and subsequent implosion on Tuesday night. Our second match from the Blue Square Premier is between two sides that have been in the news for different reasons over the last few weeks or months. The green revolution is apace at Forest Green Rovers, and they were at home on Saturday against Mansfield Town. The remainder of our matches for this evening all come from the FA Cup Second Qualifying Round. First up is the match between two teams with FA Cup pedigrees of their own – Blyth Spartans and Bedlington Terriers. Blyth still probably best known for their run to the Fifth Round of the competition in 1978, whilst Bedlington beat Colchester United by four goals to one in the First Round of the competition in 1998/99 before losing to Scunthorpe United in the next round. Coming up next is a Kent derby match between Bromley and Welling United, Redbridge and Bury Town, Dartford...
