There was a full round of matches in all three divisions the Football Conference this week, and it looks like being a very tight season in the Conference South. Today, there are just ten points between the team at the top of the table and the team in fourteenth place, and there seems little between the top three sides, with others lower down the table looking more than capable of joining them. We have four matches for you from Tuesday night, and three of them feature the sides at the very top of the table. First up is the match between Bromley, who are sitting just below mid-way in the table, and Woking, who went into the match in second place in the table if they could win and the leaders, Welling United, failed to beat Boreham Wood, which is our second match. Boreham Wood went into the match in the relegation places in the division.

The third match is also from the very top of the table, between Dartford and struggling Staines Town. Finally, we have a first appearance on this site for a club that may yet feature in the battle for a place in the play-offs come the end of the season: Salisbury City. They were at home on Tuesday night against Basingstoke Town having been promoted at the end of last season, while Basingstoke hold play-off ambitions of their own. The evening ended with Woking at the top of the table on twenty-three points. They were ahead – on goal difference only – of Dartford, with Welling United a point behind them in third place. Salisbury City will go into the weekend in tenth place in the table, but only three points off the play-off places. They are two points behind Basingstoke Town, who are in seventh place in the table.

As ever, our most sincere thanks go to those that those take the time to record, edit and upload these videos.
