Dotmund’s Eureux Tapestry: Day 5

Tuesday sees another part of the Eureux Tapestry fall into place after an eventful day in France yesterday. We have Spain’s late show against the Czech Republic, a goal scored for Ireland by somebody whose name has now changed to Hoola-houghton – one for the thirtysomethings plus, there – and Italy, the old masters, being more Italian than anybody could have imagined in overcoming a disjointed looking Belgium side.
