    Just out of curiosity: which news article is this post based on? I remember in the past there were rumours linking Chelsea with Battersea Powerstation site.

    There was a story about it in the London Evening Standard on, I think, Monday. Also in The Guardian.

    Why don’t they build half a dozen stadiums around the Home Counties and rotate their games amongst them? If nothing else this would allow them to finally play in the area where most of their supporters come from.

    Building that much stadiums would be a waste of money. I think that if they build those stadiums then tax payers will pay for the maintenance
