A good article. It seems melville has lost interest as he seemed to love the publicity last season when things were going well, attendances were up and the club was top of the league. when it all started to go wrong on the pitch towards the end of the season and they lost out on promotion he started to go quiet. He really has to explain why he has decided to walk away when at the start of this season he came out and said he was totally commited financially while the club was in the 1st division. The whole situation is a mess of the boards making and they all need to explain how this has been allowed to happen.Melville isnt even a Dundee supporter so its easy for him to walk away. the fact is that there is little sympathy from the general public of the Dundee area and and also from football fans around scotland as this is the 2nd time. Last time round there was a huge effort to raise money from the Dundee public and from football supporters across Scotland. It wont be the same this time. It seems the chances of survival in administration is only 50/50 and with no real assets this time it could be the end of a once proud club, through no fault of the long suffering supporters. This club is the 6th or 7th biggest supported club in Scotland. If they go completely bust they will not be the last.
