Ian began writing Twohundredpercent in May 2006. He lives in Brighton. He has also written for, amongst others, Pitch Invasion, FC Business Magazine, The Score, When Saturday Comes, Stand Against Modern Football and The Football Supporter. Ian was the first winner of the Socrates Award For Not Being Dead Yet at the 2010 NOPA awards for football bloggers.

    Congrats on the birthday. Personally I particularly enjoy your commentary on lower and non-league football and would like to see even more of that.

    I know it’s not easy to post as regularly as you do and keep the quality high, so all credit to you for doing so.

    A big pat on the back from us here at Some People Are On The Pitch. It’s a great achievement that you’ve written so much of a high standard for so long. I for one hope it continues!

    My favourite articles of yours are the ones that are unashamedly nostalgic, such as the Commentators article or the TV theme tunes item that got you a mention in The Sun. (How DID you manage that, by the way?!?)

    If you wrote more of those, I personally wouldn’t be complaining! That said, everything you write is a good read so just keeping doing what you’re doing now. You won’t go far wrong!
