Hi Ian, cant seem to find it in your archives. The thought of it is driving me insane and for the life of me, I cant remember the presenter’s name although he would always start off “Good Evening and Welcome once again to The Road to Wembley…” Will see if I can dig up his name… Not Brian Moore… Urrrghhh. Thanks!

I read an interview with Arsene Wenger this morning somewhere online. He said it was unfortunate Arsenal had got knocked out the FA Cup, but the more pressing priority was always to get into the Champions’ League. I’ve always had a lot of respect for the WENG, but at that moment I’d have happily stuck his beak up his arsehole.

Wenger’s spent about the last 5 years with a proportionately savaged transfer budget compared to the other big 3,
clearly if he doesn’t get into a champions league spot he doesn’t get to show the WAG’s what shopping is all about next season
Clearly he needs to flog off the rapidly breaking down Henry, and buy a couple of highly rated young French or Spanish strikers to be in a fit state for the season after next

Perhaps to much Championship Manager has taught me some sympathy for his plight
