It’ll end in tears and Evans and his gang will find another club to leave in the lurch just like he did at Holbeach,Stamford and Boston. The sooner the authorities ban Evans sine die from football the better.

This sounds like Notts County all over again, maybe the mysterious Munto Finance are bankrolling Crawley. Hopefully unlike County they won’t be allowed to buy their way into a higher league with money they haven’t got.

Even if they do manage to get into the league, I can’t see how they will get a return investment because as you say, if they are expecting big money from promotion to League Two then they’ve got another think coming. Great article, and good luck to Lewes.

    Good luck to Lewes.

    Worst of luck to Crawley.
