Harry Kewell at 39??? Unbelievable. He’s only started a handful of games this season and was injured for pretty much all of last. I can’t believe he’s been earning that much sitting around. Don’t get me wrong, I think he’s a decent player on his day but surely this isn’t right?

Darren Bent is the one on here that I don’t believe. We are constantly told about Tottenham’s wage structure and that this was the reason that Tiago didn’t sign. I really, really don’t think they would go breaking or rather smashing that apart for Darren Bent and surely he wasn’t on THAT much money at Charlton, so why would Sprus Quadruple his money. That one makes no sense.

    Darren Bent? DARREN BENT?

the thought that Eto’o, Buffon, Essien, Ibra, Kahn not to mention Totti earn less than either Darren Bent or Sol Campbell is deeply, profoundly weird.

Portsmouth FC’s Sol Campbell earns more than all but one Serie A star.

Portsmouth FC’s Sol Campbell earns more than any 2006 World Cup winner.

Eric Hall et al have a lot to answer for.
