    I think you’ll find Motherwell did actually qualify for Europe – thanks to Dundee United winning the cup they enter the Europa Cup in the 2nd Qualifying round

    Good review of the season, Gavin. You’re spot on with your comments about teams in division one. It was great to see RC and RR having a strong cup run, and if the day when the top flight is restructured ever comes I think the teams from the lower league will hold their own.

    The guy who does the Leigh Griffiths blog is called Barry Phillips, by the way. Ahem. ;-)
