    I have to say I was very proud of how the tribute went down. Even the fireworks, if I remember rightly, went off 7 times, meaning you could pretend to yourself it was a 21 gun salute.

    Just as proud of the City players. I did feel for United though. An emotional occasion at the end of an imotional week obviously got the better of them as they were not even close to their best.

    My major diappointment of the day was Ferguson’s behaviour. This is nothing new, but I would have thought that on such an important occasions for the club he could have put his dummy back in and attended a press conference to thanks all the supporters for making it a great afternoon.
