  1. A sensational result for Blackppol but I’d spare a thought for Forest. They were on the receiving end of meltdown when they lost in the play offs to Yeovil a few years ago but regrouped and came back stronger. They must surely be among the favourites for a Championship title next season.

Great review, what a fantastic advert for the Champ. Blackpool were worthy winners last night, they really can play with the class that the City Ground pitch warrants.
What happens to Billy Davies I don’t think Forest will have a hangover next season at all. As for Forests fans they were absolutely magnificent last night, the noise was deafening.
It was a true advert for all that’s right about football
Forest were honourable in defeat, Blackpool were simply outstanding

I thought that the Wembley groundsman was employed at Nottingham Forest before he was appointed at Wembley.
