The Wednesday chairman is Lee Strappon, not Lee Ambrose.

  2. I saw Wednesday play well in a 3-1 win at Plymouth early in the season and, as an Owls’ supporting friend has said, they were not flattered at all by a 4-0 win over Scunthorpe as well as being unlucky to lose 1-0 at Newcastle. So, their demise and the fact that they deserved to lose will have hit them hard.

However, even with tough sides like Southampton in the mix, they will stand a good chance of coming back up. As for Palace – fair play to them. They swallowed the 10 point penalty and still managed to save themselves. They are a bit physical at times but Ambrose and Scannell were excellent on Sunday.
