Hey I’m from the US and I’ve got Fox Soccer Channel which shows Sky Sports News every night at 7.

Just a quick question: why does Sky Sports not show any Premier League highlights and only some highlights from the Championship? (They seem to show League One and League Two)… It’s like the equivalent of ESPN not showing NFL or MLB highlights on Sportscenter.

    Hi Andrew,

I suspect that there are clauses in the Sky contract which prevent them showing highlights of the Premier League and the Championship (the BBC paid a lot of money for Premier League highlights, and ITV paid at least tuppence for the rights to the Championship). I thought that there was a Sky Sports highlights package – they certainly show at least one complete Premier League match on a Saturday evening.

I would suggest joining a UK Torrent site like The Box or UK Nova and downloading “Match Of The Day”, “Match Of The Day 2″ and “The Championship” every week. They’re usually all up by Monday evenings.
