I’m planning, for the first time (although some of you might not believe me) to write about something other than football on here this evening. High excitement, indeed. In the meantime, though, the latest Baker & Kelly podcast is available to download here and, for those of you that simply can’t get enough of them (and I’m averaging about fifty-odd downloads of each of these), here’s another complete Talk Radio show from August 1998, as ever divided into two bite-sized portions.
There are still about 12 or 13 shows (25 files) to go in this series, in case you were wondering. However, I am pleased to be able to let you know that, whilst looking on my external hard drive for something else entirely, I also stumbled across 9 out of the 10 editions of “Baker & Kelly Up Front”, which they recorded for BBC Radio Five Live in 2002. I have no idea how they got there (I certainly don’t recall downloading them), but they will go up after this run has finished. They are a much higher bit-rate (that’s sound quality, for the non-audiophiles amongst you) and are, subsequently, much bigger files, so I will be putting these up on Rapidshare. Once the whole lot are done, I’ll try and put the lot together in one big folder and stick them on the internet, for those of you that have missed some out.
Ian began writing Twohundredpercent in May 2006. He lives in Brighton. He has also written for, amongst others, Pitch Invasion, FC Business Magazine, The Score, When Saturday Comes, Stand Against Modern Football and The Football Supporter. Ian was the first winner of the Socrates Award For Not Being Dead Yet at the 2010 NOPA awards for football bloggers.
I fear change.
It’s okay, little Mund. I had some gin instead.
Thanks a lot for the old Baker Kelly shows..cant wait for more..well done
