    Ipswich Town were the last club to go into CVA without a points deduction. It would be deeply hypocritical of Sheepshanks to punish another club for taking the option he already had.
    Having said that Leeds problems are entirely of their own making whilst Ipswich faced relegation from the prem in the year that player prices collapsed and the TV money for the League 1 (as it was then) disappeared, but that’s another story.
