    It’s not often a plastic Manc like me feels solidarity with Liverpool, but it seems a ridiculous situation that the two clubs with the biggest debt problem in the Premiership built their riches through footballing success and building a reputation, have worked within their resources, and yet find themselves screwed over by the financial ambitions of a few individuals who will no doubt walk away from the wreckage unscathed – while other clubs just have free money bestowed upon them! No point whingeing I guess, that’s just football…
