How did John McAwhiskey play for Alty?

Complete waste of talent piss-artist he was.

Remember watching the Histon v. Alty fixture at Bridge Road (it will always be that to me!) in November 2007. Another turgid affair which the Stutes manage to win 1-0 thanks to a late goal. Those late goals have dried up this season with John Beck’s departure.

Histon have done well to survive in the BSP and are clearly still punching above their weight although with crowds dropping to nearer the 500 mark how much longer they can survive, even on a part-time basis, remains to be seen.

As for Alty, nice to see them remain in this division, on merit, rather than at the expense of some other club who has got more points!

“rather than at the expense of some other club who have spent the money owed to their suppliers on strengthening their squad rather on the livelyhoods of the suppliers and their dependants”.

Steve Fallon, the manager, has now been suspended by the new Chairman.
