    Does this type of investor almost make Ron Noades palatable? Maybe not?

    Far be it from me to suggest jingoism in football’s governing bodies but I wonder if some indigenous club owners lower down the league/pyramid pass this test?

    Anyway, Matt Lorenzo, that one was a bit left field and … well … while interviewing John Lyall once some years ago he told me that if I worked hard and played my cards right, I TOO could one day be as successful as his neighbour’s lad, Matt Lorenzo. Now I see what he meant, hahahaha.
