The muppets at the FA make a decision for the good of the game. Bwa ha ha ha!! You nearly had me there. I had to check the calendar.

As for the Conference teams, they should have taken a stand. This was an opportunity to say the current situation is ridiculous, instead they fell into line behind the blazers at the FA who probably think 3G pitches are the same as the ones QPR and Preston (amongst others) use.

I mean, it’s good enough for UEFA, FIFA and even the Scottish Football League..e.g. the mighty Stenhousemuir.

But since when does common sense and forward thinking go hand in hand with the FA??

I have been blocked by the Conference Football twitter site for continually trying to push home that when they notified everyone of a postponed game the answer lay in their hands and they refused to go down that road. Pathetic.

(as for my previous comment, I obviously meant “used”, not “use” with regards to QPR and Preston.

If you think about the lengths Gateshead went to last season to get their home matches played when the International Stadium pitch was unfit from January onward, then it’s hard to have much sympathy for Braintree.
