Absolutely spot on. And your last sentence is fully justified – who are these people? One thing is for sure, the Portsmouth News will not investigate them and will publish any old fantasist pap they choose to bamboozle us with. They never had any information about Mandaric’s background. They never told us the horrible story of the origins of Sacha Gaydamak’s money. He started his reign with a lie, that it was not his father’s money but his own, and The News happily repeated that. They took Al Fahim at his own estimation, and now drool over the wealth of the next ALF without the faintest idea whether he has any or not.

Well let us all hope the new owner is not a manifestation of a faity tale.
I have an inherent faith in Peter Storrie, and am confident he would not be taken in again.
Pompey have suffered enough this last summer to see out this 21st century, and now Paul Hart has a job to do to keep them in the PL.
With PS and Avram to support him, and with some cash for the January window Pompey can survive this season.
One does wonder how SAF passed the ‘Fit and proper’ assessment to take over the club with insufficient funds.

  3. Hamad says:

I am not a Portsmouth fan but I know Sulaiman Al Fahim is a farce.
Read his new interview and he has made a hefty profit from the sale. Will you still keep him close to the club let alone as the chairman for next 2 years?

  4. Mark Murphy says:

As I’ve posted elsewhere, many thanks for supplying this interview, Hamad. Your investigative skills outshine mine.
