I may be a proud Englishman, but what has happened to your great football club is an absolute disgrace. This man is the embodiment of why we need the Bundesliga’s 50 + 1 rule in the Premiership.

Cardiff are not any old club, but a special club representing a capital city and Welsh fans come before any “market” in the Far East.

Keep up the fight and keep Cardiff blue!

Best of British luck with that one.

The Topical Times Football Book was published by DC Thompson. There were 42 of these “boys annuals” published between 1959 and 2001. As noted previously the title “Topical Times” was also used pre-war for other DC Thompson publications. Photographic examples of many of them can be found on the “Kellys Comics” website, as well as a fascinating history of the publishing house itself.

Mods – please move my last post to the “Topical Times” thread. It wasn’t intended for here.
