How has this been allowed to go on for so long? Surely he realises that winding the club up sees him end with nothing (or does he lay rights to the ground?). In my opinion the BTSC should just let this happen and start afresh. The name of Barry Town will always be synonymous with Welsh League football and I’m sure it would not be long before they were back competing at a reasonable level without this maniac interfering.

Why should the fans/players/management accept dropping like a stone when they’ve done nothing wrong? In the club’s 100th year? Having survived World Wars, depressions, all sorts? The maniac should not and must not be tolerated. The FAW have to kick him out and let the BTSC continue their good work. They’ve run the thing for years anyway and they have permission to play at the (council-owned) ground next season. Take the membership from Lovering and give it to the BTSC. Football continues, fixtures are fulfilled and the tyrant’s power is gone for good. And while your at it, put in the ‘fit and proper’ rules required to stop this ever happening to any team in Wales again.

In the club’s centenary. Actually unbelievable. But all true. This man is ruining so many people’s enjoyment. Players, fans, other teams. This needs to be spread far and wide.
