If it were “sharp business practise” then Bean could likely expect it to make him some money. This won’t, and I’m tempted to suggest if that is the best he can do, it’s little wonder his own business went the way it did. Rather, I’d imagine he did it purely out of spite.

Buying up available domain names in the hopes of selling them on for a profit generally relies on the domain in question later becoming of significant commercial value – i.e. capable of bringing in a lot of money directly into a business. You could hardly say this about a grass-roots football club.

Sabre-rattling idiocy of the highest order.

Thank you for bringing to a wider audience the bluntly pathetic attempts of this “football conciliator” to disrupt our attempts to establish distance between us and his associate J Rushe.

Maybe a good dictionary needs to be on his Christmas list to Santa. Once he’s checked “sharp practice” he can look up “conciliation”.

In a wider context, it astounds me that BBC 5 Live cannot find a more reputable commentator on matters of football dispute than Mr Bean. The number of times he gets rolled out is way in excess of the value of what he has to say.

    Bean owns 1874northwich.co.uk, 1874northwichfc.co.uk and 1874northwich.org.uk

Buying a domain is similar to buying property.
A .com address is like buying a luxury New York apartment, .co.uk is a London Town House, .net is London suburbia and the others (.biz, .info .uk.com, .us, .eu etc) can been seen as out of town, less convenient and less desirable locations.

Guess who owns .com? That’s right, 1874 Northwich FC.

So Bean owns a town house in London and 1874 Northwich FC own a luxury New York apartment.

    PRICELESS!

I don’t blame bean for what he has done, after all, us trust members are scum of the earth anyway!
