Thanks, as ever, for your insightful words. It feels good to have our club back – even if as yet we have no team, no ground, no league, at least we can see a future.

Why on earth is Bean offering his “insights” into the proceedings? Is he (or his firm) involved in some way?

Would the new club have any qualms about playing home games at Wittons ground or is that a definate no no.

Simon – Bean is being paid (?) by Rushe to represent him in his various appeals against league and FA decisions.

Rob – for our part we would not have qualms – it would be a very logical decision, although the cost would have to be looked at, given that we are starting low down. However, there are a considerable number of Witton fans who would baulk at the idea of allowing any representataives of the green half of town into their stadium. Added to which, Witton are one of the (many) local clubs that Rushe has (… looks for the polite expression …) rubbed up the wrong way with his past actions.
The Trust Board are exploring a few options at the moment.
