A very good summary of a complicated story. As you say it lives on. At this precise moment, of course the Cambridge City community is celebrating the team’s progress to FA Cup Round 1 and a televised tie against MK Dons. As a relative newcomer to the club’s supporters, I am greatly impressed by the passion and commitment they have shown during this dark period.

Wonderful article, but did I miss entry #80 of this series or is this one merely mislabeled.

No, you’re quite right there Andy. This was me getting ahead of myself.

Super stuff Ian…….and I was ‘there’ to know the ‘craic’! I see Arthur Eastham on occasion. He regrets his position and actions in the ‘partnership’ with Ross River and Brian. His daughters wedding was assisted with the 10k tho’…so something positive came out of it….

Brian has had a realtionship with Rushden/Kettering ground owners for some time. Perhaps….he may be Kettering Town football clubs ‘Obe One Kinobi’…at present. His motivation may be based on different criteria in their circumstance….his son is keen to maintain a decent level of football…..on that basis perhaps he may be considered ‘suitable’ at this late stage for their ‘survival’.
He is the only one in the frame for them at present….I believe. I would support it….yet as a CUFC fan I united with City folk to combat his Company and his ‘agents’ to remove them from City’s…and Uniteds lives. My new found reasoning is based on a wide database of information spanning nearly 8 years ‘following’ Brian and his interests in local football around Cambridge. He has the money….he has a genuine reason. Kettering have no asset. Marriage made in heaven this time…..not on the back of a stolen ground….init!x

A super overview of the CCFC/Ross River ‘fraud’…and thank you again for your commitment and input to Non-League supporters and their clubs…X

My ‘ban’ is being ‘dicussed’ this evening! I will let you know!! There is a kind og ‘blog’ materialised here covering it…and other current pert issues…!x
