    A good and fair summing up of last nights match and coverage. I have no doubt that Ronaldo will be named player of the tournament on the back of two good performances and three ‘human’ ones overshadowing the likes of Pirlo, Marchisio, Pepe and Moutinho sadly. Last night proved to me once again why in the Messi v Ronaldo debate there will only ever be one winner as far as I’m concerned. God may well descend to earth again in the form of a footballer, but it won’t be as an overcoiffeured posturing Portuguese number 7.
