I enjoyed playing Football Manager and Match Day, however in my opinion Treble Champions was the best strategy game but by far and away Striker by Cult was the ultimate football game for the Speccy, start as an 18 year old in a 4th Division team and work your way up to the 1st or even a European club and internatioinal caps if you were good enough by scoring goals in the match sequence, was not easy and a real challenge to reach and remain in the top flight great fun I still play it from time to time even now.
