    Dear God, I am speechless.

Let’s not forget what a fantastic human being Mark Wright is. Resigned as Oxford manager after an FA Disciplinary Commission “took the view that there was a racial element” in remarks made to referee Joe Ross, then left Peterborough amid allegations that he racially abused a player.

This’ll be the fourth time he’s been involved with the Vaughans.

Is it not tempting to allow him to set up this club, blow all the family money on it and then see him disappear into the distance. Of course no local business should allow him any goods or services on credit to protect themselves so no one suffers except Daddy Vaughan!

  4. Chester68 says:

Lets not forget that MR nice guy Mark Wright was also charged with Harrassment with Violence towards his now ex wife.

  5. Jonathan Kerr says:

As a bouyant fan of the new Chester FC, this relevation is somewhat scary, perhaps now we will get to see whether the FA and other governing bodies are ‘Fit and Proper’ in running our sport.

  6. Liamq says:

These people are amongst the worst people in football. They should have nothing to do with the game, at any level.

  7. Informer says:

Everton reserves pulled out of the Halton stadium due to the instalation of a 3g artificial pitch on the ground.
Current FA Cup games cannot be played on 3g pitches.

  8. Jettatuta says:

Good work, as ever. Hadn’t heard of these guys before. Just shows that the ‘fit and proper person’ test such as it is, is a joke!

  9. Paul Caulfield says:

So much for the ‘fit and proper person test’!

  10. nickthebottlewasher says:

The fit and proper person test is obviously not fit for purpose. Can’t someone get rid of these scum once and for all?

  11. Hellas says:

    Vaughans = money laundering

  12. saltney blueboy says:

I for one am glad the vaughans are back, I worked closely with them whilst they were at the club and they were always kind and polite.

I will be attending widnes matches to show my support when chester are playing away or have a free week.

Best of luck stephen junior and mark.

  13. Steve says:

NWCFL AGM took place this weekend and Widnes FC were not admitted – anyone know why they were refused or did they pull out?
