I remember watching this game at the time very well. Thought Liverpool were on their way when they went 2-0 up and then Chelsea turned the game around. I was rather stunned to say the least as I preferred Liverpool and thought they’d got the win sealed.

A great comeback though, this was one of the earlier games I watched on TV and it stays with me still. This was probably the point at which Chelsea psychologically found the strength to win the FA Cup that season. I don’t think Liverpool’s season quite recovered!
