In the late nineties, Fulham supporter Ormondroyd started following his exploits around the country by producing an illustrated match report for each game. As Fulham were at the lower reaches of the Football League at the time, his accurate depictions of Northampton’s Sixfields Stadium, and Notts County defender Matt Redmile may have been lost on the world at large – however, he was soon spotted by the Guardian and started producing a weekly strip on the football world in general. The last of those strips appeared in 2003. Now it is 2011, the world has changed, football has moved on, and Ormondroyd is back, and we’re proud to announce his arrival here at Twohundredpercent. This is Ormondroyd’s take on how the football world has changed since his last scribbling…

Has it really been so long? Brilliant! Thanks so much for this.
Well, you’ve quite obviously not been to Chesterfield recently. The stadium name is pants but otherwise it’s excellent and it wasn’t built in a field next to a bypass. Once Mo’s money runs out you’ll be able to come and pay us a visit!
Great stuff. Just to give credit where it’s due, the inspiration for this came from Jon Taffel’s web site http://www.wealdstone.net (follow the link “Jack’s Infamous Match Report Picture Books” from there), as I think the Guardian acknowledged when they used Ormondroyd’s work.
Now we just need another resurgence from HTFC-World…
Very good, great Steve Marlet gag!
Fantastic, hope there’s more of these.
Sensational to see this back – what a pleasant surprise (linked via the Guardian football pages)
So is this back or not?
When can we expect another update?
