This week’s Video Of The Week takes us all the way back to the second season of the Premier League, and the first signs that a football dynasty was being built. Manchester United had won the previous season’s title with a tiny bit to spare, but the following year they went on to complete the double, the first club to do so since Arsenal in 1971. Even then, though, few people had too much of an idea of just how dominant the club would become. Meanwhile, at the other end of the table, Swindon Town were spending their sole season in the Premier League and conceding one hundred goals in the process, whilst Everton, Manchester City and Spurs were all getting a little closer to the relegation zone than they might have liked. Our thanks, as ever, go to the original uploader of this video.
