It’s down to semantics, I know, but I wouldn’t agree that “Supporters Direct receives so much of its funding from, ultimately, the Premier League”. The Premier League gets its funding from fans ‘ultimately’. The anomoly of this funding route is that the Pr3emier League has its hand on the tap.

Great report, and good to see you yesterday!

It was also heartening to hear that SD is looking to increase its self-funding. The appointment of a fundraiser was announced at the AGM and a target set to look to increase funding from other sources over the next three years.

Over-dependence on the somewhat mercurial sensitivities of Dick and Dave is not a sustainable business plan!
