    It’s Everton’s year this year. Moyes’s first piece of siverware. We’ve knocked out 3 teams from this competition, above us in the league. Just Chelsea to go!

    Very much so. United have had a sluggish season; if you look back, you can probably pick the 3-0 win against Chelsea as an excellent attacking performance, but the rest has seen very little cutting edge, the team’s progress dominated by clean sheets and narrow victories. They haven’t been the irresistable entertaining force for a very long time.
