    Looking at the line-up and the bench it’s become staggeringly clear to me that there just aren’t many good English footballers around at the moment. Especially in the goalkeeping and forward positions. I honestly think that squad wouldn’t finish in the top six in the Premier League.

    And the Wembley crowd was so quiet, particularly in the second half when they should have been urging the team on to get a winner. It’s as if they were playing in front of 80,000 Arsenal fans…
