There has been a degree of high excitement at the Twohundredpercent bunker this week, when we found out that the venerable football magazine “When Saturday Comes” nominated this site as its “Site Of The Month”. I have been a reader of WSC for 21 years now (the front cover of the first edition of it that I ever bought – and still own – featured Graeme Souness on the front cover while he was the manager of Rangers, which carbon dates both the edition that it was and myself). Naturally (and I would recommend this anyway), you should buy this month’s WSC but, for those of you that can’t find it (and you can find out all about it here) you can see what they had to say about us here.
All of this brings us on neatly to this week’s edition of Shit Shot Mungo. This week, following their surprise 41-0 win, Heart of Clackmannanshire are disappointed to find out that Mungo McCrackas sale to Sheffield Wensleydale has fallen through after a medical. You can find a bigger version of it here.
Ian began writing Twohundredpercent in May 2006. He lives in Brighton. He has also written for, amongst others, Pitch Invasion, FC Business Magazine, The Score, When Saturday Comes, Stand Against Modern Football and The Football Supporter. Ian was the first winner of the Socrates Award For Not Being Dead Yet at the 2010 NOPA awards for football bloggers.
The link for the larger version brings you to last week’s strip.
And while I’m here, congrats on the WSC honour!
Thanks, Fred – I have updated it.
Congrats, about time too. Sales of WSC went up 1 this month.
