    Great post

I am a Burscough fan, and everything you have written goes straight to my heart. We have had – with some dark irony – the recent news that Burscough have been given a reprieve by the League, so we’re still a Premier League club. Sadly I doubt we’ll ever see a ball kicked in anger.

What we all need to do – from supporters to local people and non-league fans – is maintain a clear focus for the future. I doubt this is going to be easy for anyone. It would rip the heart from the village if the club was to be destroyed by people who simply don’t have any best intentions at heart.

I fel sorry for the many fans who have supported this club and those who made donations to try to save it, they are good and loyal people.
I would like to know who owns Chequer Properties. Is it a Limited company, a PLC or even a wholely owned subsidiary of some bigger organisation for instance a retail company ?

Good luck to you from Halifax Town fans.

Just thought I’d catch up on what Burscough are up to – last time I visited your place there were plans to move to the other side of the wall into a brand new ground. Just goes to show how little you can trust these cut-throat businessmen who have no interest in anything but their own vast fortunes. Sickening!

Good luck with starting up a new phoenix club. I really hope it works out for you all.
