A nicely balanced piece though there is a lot more to the story than you have implied. SEO is a last desperate attempt to rid our club of a group of incompetent buffoons, if they cared about the club they would move aside, the chairman has repeatedly said if the fans don’t want him he’ll move aside but we’re still waiting. The directors seem to grow cold on any potential investor who wants to influence the running of the club or even just look at the books! The current Vice-chairman was taken on to the board at the expense of Mr Palladini who will be lunching in Premier League boarddrooms next season. Even then he tried to buy his shares at a lower price than ordinary fans and offered further investment which we are still waiting for. Then we have the case of the director who hadn’t got enough shares to be on the board but hung on for many weeks after the company he was representing withdrew their proxy from him. You can usually tell when a Vale director is lying….their lips move.

Great artcile and an accurate account fo events and EmmerVale, one amendment: the NLV address is in North London, the address for the consultation and proxy return is at one of our committee members addresses, sowf of the river. We have to let the occasional one in!

Its been a very long seasons thanks to all the playground politics going on.

I cant help but think that Mo has such a smooth way with words and is such a great salesman and speaker that he has achieved his goal by literally getting turkeys voting for Christmas.

  4. Mo wants democracy at the EGM so the headline says. What about democracy when he owns 51% of the club ?
