Ian began writing Twohundredpercent in May 2006. He lives in Brighton. He has also written for, amongst others, Pitch Invasion, FC Business Magazine, The Score, When Saturday Comes, Stand Against Modern Football and The Football Supporter. Ian was the first winner of the Socrates Award For Not Being Dead Yet at the 2010 NOPA awards for football bloggers.

    I put it down to one thing and thought it a while back. Nigel Clough is a good manager whereas Roy MacFarland is crap. It never fails to astonish me how managers such as Roy continually get jobs and consequently fail. There seems to be some clandestine society that gives them first dibs on any vacant jobs.

    I hope Burton go up because of the outstanding work of Clough and Chairman, Ben Robinson. I visited three times with Scarborough and the improvements on each occasion were a credit to the club.
