There’s a very big question that premiership teams are putting off asking themselves, and that’s “What kind of men are we turning our young players into?”. From 16 on a training contract to 20 year ild millionaires, all the time living with other teenage millionaires, and in some cases completely on their own reconaissance.

Unusual for me, but I have to point an approving nod in the direction of Manchester United here. The unique case of Beckham aside, they produced a group of excellent players who’s heads have never quite disappeared up their own arses. Paul Scholes should run seminars on how to be a professional footballer. I certainly wish he’d have a chat with Joey Barton.

Apologies if the argument’s a little incoherant, it’s been a tough week and uncle Stella is assisting my posting.

WHat’s wrong with supporting Ipswich? Somone has to. ;)

I lived in Suffolk for 13 years during their glory years and became addicted. Can’t change old habits.

Thanks for the link to my blog.
